Finally, sent it off for binding.

I should have started work today.

Anyway, I am off for work during office hour once again from tomorrow.

My new office has just been installed today. Still waiting for the partitions to come, and the desktops to be set up....

A new day..... a new era.....

I've passed my PhD oral defense!

Today at 3pm was my oral defense. It took 20 mins to present a summary of my thesis, and about 40 mins to answer questions from my examiners.

They had decided passed my oral examination and to let me address and attend to their comments in my thesis amendments with 3 months.

Cheers! Thank God!

My lovely nursing students (Year 1)

They ARE my very cutie nursing students for my course on applied psychology!

This is about half of the class at our last lesson. The other half was with another lecturer to do revision. We revise everything in this last class. They are always very talkative...I like when they asked me questions, that means they were thinking about what I said... but most of the times, they are just chatting and talking among themselves, especially when I started to lecture/talk, then they talked as well!!

We missed each other and so a gal suggested that we should take a photo together.
We'd do a serious one, and a funny one. I don't like that chair..it made me looked bulky and fat! Next time I should stand...:)

Two boys sat around me and pretend to be the Japanese Money Cat! Thanks!!!!!

Ha ha ah!!! I miss them too. Wonder if I'd teach them some other courses too later..?

X'mas decoration at my office yesterday :)

Ha ha ha
Merry X'mas!!!
Our office colleagues have derived
a new lucky draw system. Instead of just bringing a present for exchange.
We'd draw a person to whom we'd buy a present for, and then, we'd

put the present down on our bi-annual x'mas party day!!!!

So, some angel would buy a x'mas present for a colleague that might
be suitable for him/her!!!!

See, at 5.30pm... we started to unload all the x'mas decorations from
the boxes, and pull them up on the walls, in our offices, on the
doors, and every in the lift lobby of our floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Lord is BORN for us!!!

LEGO By-election Campaign -- when I came out from Graham Festival

I have voted too!!!
And picked up two forms for my mum and her friend to register
themselves as a voter on the way.
...
I changed my mind right before I enter the voting venue...
Before, I have been mainly considering the character,
the pragmatism, of the candidate.
.... But then ,....
I am afraid one party is loosing too much of their
influence... so I vote for the party of the candidate...in the end.

Very much out of my own expectation too!!!!

Franklin Graham: When we leave, absolutely crowded everywhere

Franklin Graham Festival: I am standing right in the middle of the "Conversion Area" 決志區

The speaker / MC for the occasion was just standing on my left. See the man there?!
There were a lot of counselor "³½Íû", those wearing badges, see?
There are also quite a lot of new believers, but counselors seems to be more than new believers at the scene.

I had no "counseling package' in my hand... and THERE, I suddenly BUMP into So L, my churchmate who was also my Graham counselor classmate in the midst of tens of people.

Also, I saw Pa walked in front of me when I was sitting and listening to Graham too.. She is my fellowshipmate.

What a nice surprise!!!!!!!!!!

Franklin Graham Festival: Patient & Attentive Audience

Even though the sound come through the microphone was quite horrible,
illegible, uncomprehensible, too much echo...
People quietly sit through it. They clapped warmly and spontaneously
when Graham thank our Government, our invitation, and that his wive /
daughter has been serving in China for 25 years as a missionary..

Franklin Graham Festival: introducing Graham to come on stage

After numerous singing of hymns.
Welcome us!
But it is already 5pm...
It started at 3.30pm.
People queued up to enter the Stadium starting from 2pm or so....

Franklin Graham Festival IV: HK Stadium FULL

The Big Screen up in Happy Valley.
Right below the screen are people who came into the Race Course from
the Play Ground Entrance.

I came in through the Spectator's Stand. I pictured the Big Screen from there.

Franklin Graham Festival in Happy Valley when I arrived at 4.50pm

Live Video of Franklin Graham Festival in Happy Valley (last day 2 Dec 07)

Completely FULL at 3pm already at the HK Stadium!!

And by 3.30pm, already full in the South Sports Club.

I finished the FULL thesis and email to my boss at 4.05pm, rush to take my lunch, and I arrive at the HK Stadium at 4.30pm.

Policeman said, "no entrance, full." "Oh, you are a counselor, and they need counselor there in the HK Race Course. So go there, take a $15 taxi ride, and get there!"

So I took $17 taxi ride and arrive there safe and sound at 4.45pm.

Still singing a few hymns. Then at 5.10pm, Graham appeared on the screen.

He Asked people whether they want to accept Jesus as their personal savior.

People moved down immediately as Graham invite them to come down from their seats to accept Jesus Christ. But there were also a lot of people who went down and dashed to the gate! The "feeding", or the echo because of slight distance between different source of sound, yet this made comprehension very difficult.

Nevertheless, a lot of people gathered down there. I quickly picked my bag, my camera, and dashed there as I need to offer newly converted people explanation of our faith, fill in the forms, and invitation for future Church activities. I walked and walked and wondered around.....

Prayer 30 Alpha and Franklin Graham

From: mail@hkfgf.org
